So when I was 16 years old I was arrested for larceny. I was a junior at Colonie High it was my first year at this new school because I was suspended from my old school. My old school was Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons. I was kinda a big shot at NDBG’s because I grew up with all my classmates and I was the class clown. It was a small school and I was a terror. I wasn’t a badasss or anything, I just harassed teachers and played fun little jokes. Also most of the things I did would involve most of my friends. For example we would find out our teachers first name and while they were turned around I would yell in a deep voice “Frank(teachers name)!” They would turn around and say “Jyo stop yelling” at that point someone from the opposite side of the room would yell “Frank!” And so on and so on, until the teacher just lost it. It was great. One day a friend brought in a bunch of BB’s like for a BB gun and passed them out, then in Mrs. Woodruffs class(she was known for being crazy and yelling alot) someone would throw a BB at the metal radiator, “PING!” after the second one she thought she knew who did it and put him in the hallway. When he was in the hallway someone else would throw another BB, “PING!” This would happen all class and noone could really get in trouble because they could never pinpoint who actually doing it. She actually searched the entire class and we hid them in our pen caps and other places. It was great. My favorite thing I did was me and a friend Ryan would ride the bus home. We would sit in the front of the bus and try and talk to the bus driver. He was a middle aged guy who wore blue blocker sunglasses and a brown leather jacket. We would ask him his name and he would never tell us. Around that time there was a man in the newspapers named Al Wetsill, he was arrested for child molestation. We stared calling the bus driver Al Wetsill. Me and Ryan knew his bus route so one day we got off the bus and ran to Ryan’s house, we put on hooded sweatshirts and hopped on our bikes. We caught up to Al’s bus and got in front of the bus riding our bikes. We stayed in front of the bus riding like 3 mph for his entire route. He was honking and going nuts. Awesome. The next day in school me and Ryan were called into the principals office. We told her we didn’t know anything about it, but she said we had to tell her something so we told her our buddy Dean might know something. She called Dean in and he told her he also didn’t know about it but Jon might know something. This went on until almost everyone in our class was in her office. It was dropped. Power in numbers baby! Months later I eventually was caught by the principal, who was standing outside one of my classes, yelling a teachers name. She said I was suspended for multiple things and not just for yelling a teachers name in class. I decided the next year I would goto Colonie.
When I started Colonie I knew 2 People. They were in that “Cool Kids” group so I thought I would be OK. But during the first week the 2 kids I knew basically brushed me off and I had to forge my own way. During that period I met Russ(not real name) and Jeff(real name) along with some others but they are the important in this story. One weekend me and a couple of friends went to Mohawk Mall. We were gonna goto pick up Russ who worked at a music store and goto Colonie Central Mall. Russ was finishing up some work and told us we could steal whatever Cd’s we wanted. I didn’t, but Russ grabbed some Cd’s before we left. At Colonie Central Mall we where going to visit Jeff who worked at Foot Locker. Jeff would also tell us that if the manager goes in the back we could steal whatever we wanted. The manager would go to the back and all my friends were taking shit and laughing, it looked soo great. I decided it was safe and started looking around the store to see what I could take. I found an awesome sweatshirt. The manager went in the back, I took off my NFL starter jacket, wrapped it around my sweatshirt and ran out of the Foot Locker. I was basically running through the mall and saw Russ who told me to go to Macys bathroom where we could put the sweatshirts in his backpack. I guess in my haste I grabbed 3 sweatshirts along with the 3 hangers they were on. The hangers were clanging so loud as we made our way to Macys bathroom.
I have to run but will post Part 2 of this story later tonight.
